Manual lens – take 2

My first go with the TT Artisan f1.2 was quite a satisfying experience. I was chuffed that I managed to focus reasonably effectively. Ever since, I’ve been waiting to get a cheap f0.95 lens. Finally managed to get a 7Artisans 35mm f0.95 on sale and it arrived yesterday. Couldn’t wait to take out, and headed out for a lunch time walk.

Only problem was it was a bright day, and I didn’t have ND filters handy. So most of the photos were taken between f6.4 and f8. Being a manual lens, it sends no EXIF data to the camera, so can’t be exact. It wasn’t really that satisfying. Who gets an f0.95 lens to shoot at f8? Need to take it out at night and see if I can actually manually focus on a shallow depth of field.
