In Auckland for work, so took the chance to take out the 7Artisans f0.95 out to see what it can do at night. While I realised manual focusing at such shallow depth of field may be challenging, I have to say it was more problematic than I had imagined. Hence striking lack of people photos during the walk compared to what I would usually take.
I would’ve tried the fishing technique … finding composition and waiting for subjects to come through. But it was a Sunday night, and very little foot traffic. That will have to wait for another day. I brought only one lens, so if I get a chance another evening, I may try that.
